This episode is proof that if you bother me enough on Twitter while I am at work, I will record an episode with you just so you can shut up. Josh Dunham thought it would be best to respond to a comment we made on a previous episode about Cowboy Bebop being a bit overrated as compared to some other shows that he likes. You mad already audience? I thought it was best that we talked about this on a medium where we can understand him better. Luckily for Josh, we ended up straying from the subject and start talking about our roles as podcasters. All that and we tell you something that you should already be aware of on this episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast.

(0:00 - 7:40) Intro Here is the AMV that Foxy was referring to. More on these later. (7:41 - 32:54) Discussion (About Last Night...) We should commend Josh on taking a controversial side of this argument, even though this argument is a little one-sided. What I want to make clear is that this should not be the reason that everyone goes and spams this kid with your complaints. He may later say that he does not mind the flames, but I plead that you not give in to his sick desires. What matters more is that he sounds like an idiot on our show and that you should spread this link to all the people he name dropped and make them listen to what he says. We love you, Josh. Happy 19th Birthday. (32:55 - 1:30:26) Discussion (We're No Angels) I guess this is the part where I defend myself and our podcast. This is no argument that we are not the most professional podcast there is. We try to make as entertaining as possible while still having a good time doing it. Though that may seem redundant, we try not to make this into our job to entertain our audience. Yet, I do my best to run this like a business. You see now why our product has such an appropriate title. I made a decision ahead of time to not become like the already loud noise that is the common anime podcast. Regardless of quality, having the very segmented, slightly scripted, overly produced, info dumping, check marking show gets tiresome. That is not to say that you have to be a “random” kind of show. There has to be a method to your madness, which is what our two years of podcasting has proven. We love to admit our laziness publicly, but we make sure that they are aware that we are but a sleeping dragon. I may only contribute to this site by writing minimal notes for the episodes, but can I actually write a more in depth look at certain anime? Maybe. I am sure you would prefer Foxy’s more cerebral approach to fandom. Can we be a professional review show? Yes. Do we have to? No. Like I said in the episode, you are stuck with us. Rating: 10 (1:30:26 - 1:33:41) Closing Wait, when did Peterson release an episode? Please feel free to leave a comment or contact us via email at: SSAApodcast@gmail.com. Check us out on Facebook and on Steam.
